In many parts of Gujarat menstruation is still not fully understood — it is experienced in silence rather than learned with clarity.
Keeping this reality in mind, a menstrual health awareness session was conducted at Sankhalpur ( Mehsana ) gujarat School for 170 girls from standards 5 to 8, in collaboration with KK Bhedru Charitable Trust.
In several rural areas, young girls often face challenges such as lack of accurate information, social taboos, hesitation to ask questions, and limited access to proper guidance. This not only creates fear but also affects their confidence during an important phase of their lives.
